    KNOXVILLE MUSEUM OF ART

    The Knoxville Museum of Art, affectionately called the KMA, houses art and applauds the artists of East Tennessee. With a focus on arts education, the KMA presents a rotating selection of art from a myriad of artists representing all eras, mediums, and genres. Among the features are installations, paintings, glasswork, photographs and more.

    The KMA is certified by the American Alliance of Museums, demonstrating their committment to ongoing artistic innovations, institutional refinement, professional amelioration and community collaboration. Less than 10% of American museums share this accreditation. Further indication of the KMA's fondness for art and community is observed in their continual stream of events, cultivating an open space for locals and visitors to share artistic affinities, opinions and ideas. 

      MCCLUNG MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY

      The McClung Museum is located on the University of Tennessee campus and holds robust collections in natural history, world culture, anthropology, material and visual culture. The museum advances education of history and culture through their displays, research and additional outreach programs.

      THE MUSE KNOXVILLE

      The Muse is a learning playground of sorts at the corner of Art Avenue and Science Street. The museum is a hands-on, inspirational and educational experience for everyone from toddlers to members of the Centurion Club.

      WOMEN'S BASKETBALL HALL OF FAME

      The Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame honors individuals who have helped grow women’s basketball on all levels, and is home to the world’s largest basketball – measuring 30 ft. tall and weighing 10 tons.
